Director, Product Analytics (APAC)

About the role

Wise is looking for an Analytics Director for its APAC squad, based in Singapore, to lead a high-impact analytics team that is central to building the product roadmap for the region. The role reports to the Global Senior Analytics Director for Regional Expansion and partners daily with the Product, Banking and Engineering leads of the APAC squad. It involves leading a team of around 10 product analysts and supporting them in data-led decision making and in measuring the impact of their work.

Key responsibilities

• Support the APAC squad in addressing the region's most important challenges with data and insights, and build relevant KPIs to measure impact and accountability
• Develop, coach and support a team of analysts so they can influence the regional strategic roadmap
• Refine the analytical vision and plan for APAC and contribute to the Regional Analytics strategy globally
• Partner with product teams to drive data-led decisions and ensure robust measurement of impact
• Help identify insights that inform planning and enhance the customer experience across the diverse countries in APAC

Required profile

• Experienced analytics leader who has built analytics functions in fast-paced, scaling, global companies (ideally at the scale of 10+ people teams, including other leads)
• Ability to turn complex data into clear stories that drive data-led change at the organisation level
• Experience leading, developing and growing a team of analysts who partner with cross-functional stakeholders
• Experience co-leading team-wide projects around problems defined by meaningful KPIs

Required skills

• Hands-on data manipulation and analysis, including scripting and coding in SQL and Python (or R), with coaching experience
• Nice to have: practical use of AI / machine learning techniques and building predictive models

What we offer

• Salary range of 230,000 - 318,000 SGD base per annum plus RSUs
