Director, Training & Programs

About the role

The Center for Sustainable Finance and Private Wealth (CSP) is seeking a senior leader to own and expand its training portfolio across the APAC region. As Director, Training & Programs you will shape research‑driven curricula for ultra‑high‑net‑worth individuals, family offices, wealth managers and other private‑wealth actors, positioning CSP as a regional thought leader.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver CSP APAC training programmes, including bespoke courses for U/HNW clients and IBF‑certified open courses for wealth managers.
• Create high‑quality training materials—presentations, manuals, case studies and simulations—grounded in the latest sustainable‑finance research.
• Lead accreditation under the IBF‑MAS Technical Skills and Competencies framework and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Recruit, coach and manage a network of external trainers, establishing internal quality‑review processes.
• Collaborate with research, partnership and fundraising teams to align programmes with market needs and strategic objectives.
• Facilitate knowledge exchange with CSP hubs in Zurich and North America and drive regional expansion through new partnerships.

Required profile

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance, economics, sustainability, learning & development or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 7 years of leadership and program‑development experience, preferably in banking, finance or sustainable finance.
• Expertise: In‑depth knowledge of sustainable finance, ESG and impact investing.
• Skills: Strong project‑management and organisational abilities to deliver training initiatives end‑to‑end.
• Certifications: IBF certification, WSQ Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment (ACTA) or Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance (ACLP) are a plus.
