Drafter – CAD Design for Water Treatment & Pollution Control

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Drafter to produce detailed CAD drawings for water‑treatment and air‑pollution control projects. The role involves creating mechanical designs, preparing documentation and supporting project execution on Jurong Island.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed CAD drawings for water‑treatment systems (chemical dosing, RO skids, demisters, piping) and air‑pollution control equipment (scrubbers, ductwork).
• Prepare mechanical documentation, bills of materials and general arrangement/layout drawings for equipment and piping.
• Perform material take‑offs from P&ID, GA or ISO drawings and assist with 3D and isometric modelling when required.
• Plan and monitor project schedules, attend progress meetings and produce status reports.
• Estimate project budgets, coordinate milestones and oversee engineering, site execution, testing and commissioning activities.
• Compile as‑built drawings, progress claim reports and operation‑and‑maintenance manuals.
• Liaise with procurement, engineering and group offices to ensure smooth project delivery.

Required profile

• Diploma in Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
• Minimum three years of professional drafting experience.
• Experience in water‑treatment, oil & gas, petrochemical or power‑plant environments is preferred.
• Immediate availability is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Inventor.
• Familiarity with Cadworx or similar 3D CAD tools (optional).
• Ability to produce accurate material take‑offs and BOMs.
