Duty Manager

About the role

The Duty Manager will oversee the daily operations of Muddy Murphy’s pub in Singapore, ensuring smooth service and a positive guest experience. This full‑time, on‑site position involves supervising front‑of‑house staff, coordinating shifts and supporting the team to maintain high standards of hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise front‑of‑house staff and coordinate shift schedules.
• Maintain service quality, cleanliness and overall guest satisfaction.
• Monitor inventory levels, assist with ordering supplies and manage cash handling.
• Implement promotions, events and respond to guest feedback promptly.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations and other regulatory requirements.
• Report operational updates to senior management and contribute to a safe, inclusive workplace.

Required profile

• Experience in hospitality or F&B operations, preferably in pubs, bars or restaurants, with supervisory or team‑lead responsibilities.
• Strong customer service and communication skills, able to handle guest interactions calmly and professionally.
• Basic knowledge of opening and closing procedures and ability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.
• Understanding of workplace health and safety practices and local F&B regulatory requirements.
• Relevant hospitality management qualification or certification is an advantage.
