Early Career Software Engineer

About the role

Apple’s Information Systems & Technology (IS&T) group is looking for early‑career software engineers to join two core teams that power Apple ID, the Apple website, data centers, and internal tools used by over 130,000 employees worldwide. You will help build and maintain the services that connect billions of devices and enable employees to work efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using Java or Python.
• Build web‑front‑end features with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS3.
• Contribute to custom tooling that empowers other Apple teams.
• Collaborate with teams such as Enterprise Technology Services, SAP, Global Business Intelligence, and Corporate Systems Engineering.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous‑integration pipelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong fundamentals in computer science and software development.
• Prior internship or project experience in software engineering.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in at least one server‑side language: Java or Python.
• Experience with web technologies: JavaScript, HTML, CSS3.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP (preferred).
