Early Intervention Teacher

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Early Intervention Teacher to support the learning and development of young students with diverse needs. The role involves designing individualized learning plans, delivering evidence‑based instruction, and collaborating with families and multidisciplinary teams to promote holistic growth.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess student needs to develop individualized learning objectives and outcomes.
• Design and create effective instructional plans, learning materials, and supportive learning environments.
• Facilitate student development using engaging, differentiated, evidence‑based practices, both independently and in team‑teaching settings.
• Proactively manage the classroom to enhance motivation, behavior, and learning opportunities.
• Provide physically, emotionally, and socially safe relationships and environments for students.
• Monitor, assess, record, and report on student progress and attainment.
• Collaborate with parents, caregivers, community partners, and stakeholders for contextualized learning and family‑centered planning.
• Deploy a transdisciplinary approach for coordinated planning and execution of development strategies.
• Engage in self‑reflective practice, coach fellow teachers, and participate in initiatives that improve processes and student outcomes.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Psychology, Social Work, Human Services or related field, with completion of SDESN.
• At least 2 years of experience working in an early intervention setting.
• Ability to handle physical demands such as lifting and carrying students and equipment, and maintaining equipment and facilities.
• Must be a Singaporean citizen or Permanent Resident.
