EHS Executive – Fire Safety & HSE Management

About the role

The EHS Executive will lead fire safety and occupational health initiatives across our islandwide operations in Singapore. Reporting to senior management, you will ensure compliance with SCDF fire regulations and drive a robust safety culture throughout the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the Fire Safety Manager (FSM) to maintain full compliance with SCDF fire safety regulations and systems.
• Develop, implement, and review the company’s HSE management system, policies, and supporting documentation.
• Plan and execute HSE programmes, campaigns, and training to raise employee awareness.
• Conduct HSE inspections, audits, drills, and act as WSH Committee Secretary.
• Lead accident and incident investigations and ensure corrective actions are applied.
• Review permits, safe work practices, method statements, and risk assessments for operational compliance.
• Maintain Emergency Response Team (ERT) equipment and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Required profile

• Registered Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Officer with MOM.
• Certified Fire Safety Manager (FSM) with SCDF.
• Minimum five years of hands‑on safety management experience in an HSE department.
• At least three years of experience in manufacturing or chemical plants, preferably with exposure to Jurong Island operations.

Required skills

• Fire Safety Management certification.
• Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) certification.
