Elementary English Teacher

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Elementary English Teacher to join our primary school team. The successful candidate will deliver a full curriculum in English, fostering a love of learning and supporting the social and professional integration of young students.

Key responsibilities

• Teach all primary subjects (mathematics, science, arts, etc.) in English or using English as the language of instruction.
• Design and implement lesson plans aligned with French national programs and standards.
• Develop and apply assessment methods in collaboration with colleagues and external partners.
• Lead the classroom, encouraging participation and curiosity.
• Provide personalized monitoring, working closely with families to support each child’s educational project.
• Contribute to school projects, events, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Adapt teaching strategies to diverse learner needs, using digital tools to enhance learning.
• Undertake specific functions such as coordination, co‑teaching, or project leadership when required.

Required profile

• Holder of a teaching degree (Master’s, PGCE, PGDE, CRPE).
• Experience teaching kindergarten or elementary levels, preferably in international or abroad settings.
• Familiarity with the French education system is a plus.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and teamwork abilities.
• Flexibility, responsiveness, and a caring attitude toward students.
