Energy Transition Manager – Business Development

About the role

The Energy Transition team enables the development of an affordable, secure, consumer‑centric, flexible and decarbonised global energy system. As an Energy Transition Manager you will drive business development and deliver high‑impact advisory projects for Southeast Asian clients.

Key responsibilities

• Drive business development through proactive sales, tender responses, and bid/proposal writing.
• Develop and strengthen relationships with key low‑carbon energy clients and stakeholders; attend conferences and external meetings.
• Lead client projects from inception to completion, overseeing problem‑solving, analysis, research and quality assurance.
• Manage project teams and subcontractors, ensuring QA standards are met.
• Liaise with client contacts on day‑to‑day project matters.
• Oversee project budgets and finances.
• Grow a network of stakeholders, clients and partners across the low‑carbon energy sector.
• Achieve revenue and business‑development targets for the SE Asia Energy Transition sector.
• Deliver projects on time, within budget and with measurable decarbonisation impact aligned with the Carbon Trust mission.
• Secure positive client feedback to enhance brand recognition.

Required profile

• Proven experience in energy markets, especially electricity policies, market arrangements and regulatory frameworks in Southeast Asia.
• Strong business development and consulting background with a track record of winning contracts.
• Ability to build and influence relationships with technical and senior stakeholders.
• Comfortable working both independently and within complex team environments.
• Organised, efficient and results‑oriented.
