Engineering Specialist (Sputter Source)

About the role

The Engineering Specialist (Sputter Source) is responsible for maintaining the availability and reliability of sputter sources used in our electronics manufacturing operations. You will work in a clean‑room environment, performing repairs, conversions and failure analyses to support continuous production.

Key responsibilities

• Repair sputter sources following the troubleshooting flowchart for chronic failures.
• Convert sputter sources according to the MPS plan to prevent source disconnects.
• Conduct source and component failure analysis together with equipment engineers to improve robustness and reduce failure rates.
• Track failed components, ensure procedural compliance and provide feedback to management.
• Participate in cost‑saving projects and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive reductions.

Required profile

• Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronic Engineering or a related field.
• Self‑motivated with a positive attitude and strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Team player capable of diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electronic issues.
• Willingness to work in a clean‑room environment and on a 12‑hour day shift (7:30 am – 7:45 pm).
