English & Writing Teacher (Full-time)

About the role

The Write Connection (TWC) is seeking a passionate English & Writing Teacher to deliver engaging lessons to primary and secondary students. You will join a team of over 100 professionals dedicated to nurturing critical, compassionate thinkers.

Key responsibilities

• Teach 10‑12 classes per week, including covering for colleagues when needed.
• Deliver structured, curriculum‑aligned English and writing lessons using in‑house materials.
• Create a safe, growth‑mindset classroom environment.
• Mark and return student work promptly, track performance, and provide constructive feedback.
• Communicate regularly with parents about academic and personal progress.
• Participate in weekly professional development meetings.

Required profile

• Degree from a reputable university, preferably in Law, Arts, Humanities, Social Sciences or Communications.
• Strong academic record, especially in English and General Paper.
• Passion for teaching English and writing to primary and secondary students.
• Willingness to develop teaching strategies for varied learner levels.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong work ethic and ability to manage up to 12 classes weekly.
• Flexible availability to work five days a week, including weekends as required.
