Entry-Level R&D Process Engineer

About the role

As an entry‑level R&D Process Engineer you will support the design and optimisation of manufacturing processes for semiconductor and display technologies. You will work closely with global R&D teams, collect and analyse experimental data, and help translate findings into reliable production methods.

Key responsibilities

• Collect experimental data, analyse results, and compile detailed reports for process engineering studies.
• Perform hardware characterisation on basic equipment to assess performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Troubleshoot process deviations, conduct root‑cause analysis, and implement corrective actions under supervision.
• Measure film properties such as thickness and uniformity, organise data and prepare review documentation.
• Generate internal technical documentation, presentations, and reports for product development.
• Communicate with customers to address basic process engineering concerns, providing timely resolutions.
• Collaborate with vendors and suppliers on component specifications and support activities.
• Participate in the implementation of new technologies, products, and analytical instrumentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor, Master or PhD in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics or a related discipline.
• Research experience in the semiconductor field is a strong advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with internal teams and customers.
• Problem‑solver mindset with a focus on quality and determination.
