About the role
The Equipment Operator I/II drives various vehicles to support flight catering operations, ensuring timely delivery of meals, dry stores, and equipment to aircraft. This role works closely with the Flight In‑Charge (FIC) to maintain high‑quality service for airline customers.
Key responsibilities
- Collect, assemble, and load dry stores, flight equipment, foodstuffs, and supplementary items onto delivery vehicles.
- Operate high‑lift vehicles and other equipment for flight servicing, including catering exchanges and uplifts.
- Perform Flight IC duties on regional transit, night‑stop, and other flights as required.
- Return unloaded equipment, dispose of waste, and refuel vehicles after each service.
- Escort high‑lift cabins to ensure security and safe delivery of catering items.
- Train new Equipment Operators during on‑the‑job training (OJT) as a Class 5 qualified trainer.
Required profile
- GCE N (5) levels or O (2) levels.
- Minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
Required skills
- LTA Class 3 License (minimum requirement).
