Equipment Technician

About the role

The Equipment Technician is responsible for maintaining the reliability and safety of all plant equipment and facilities within a semiconductor manufacturing environment. You will work independently to perform inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance across multiple systems.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of equipment and facilities to detect issues and perform repairs.
• Carry out electrical, mechanical, and plumbing maintenance tasks.
• Maintain and repair HVAC and wastewater systems.
• Assist with equipment and building hook‑up work as required.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
• Maintain accurate records and daily activity reports.
• Support other departments with facility‑related needs.
• Monitor, order, and receive chemicals for facility operations.
• Collect water samples and coordinate their analysis.
• Manage spare parts inventory and track orders.
• Coordinate waste disposal with external collectors.
• Supervise vendors and contractors supporting facility areas.
• Work independently without supervision and attend on‑call duties.

Required profile

• Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical engineering, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in semiconductor factory facilities or similar industrial environment.
