Senior Powerplant Consultant

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Powerplant Consultant to join a leading fleet management services provider. The role is remote‑based in Singapore and focuses on managing commercial aircraft engine projects for airline and lessor clients.

Key responsibilities

• Act as virtual powerplant manager for airline/lessor clients.
• Plan fleet and forecast maintenance costs.
• Optimise engine removal planning and disposition.
• Implement cost‑reduction initiatives.
• Track and report Engine Health Monitoring (EHM) and Engine Condition Monitoring (ECM) data.
• Manage full engine shop visit events, including work‑scope compilation, inspection attendance, repair oversight, material management and post‑visit documentation.
• Negotiate service agreements with OEMs and MRO suppliers.
• Review, analyse and negotiate technical aspects of engine lease, sale and purchase contracts.
• Support new engine selection and transition management, including audits, inspections and borescope reviews.
• Prepare technical reports and maintain documentation.
• Mentor junior powerplant consultants and engineers.
• Represent the company at OEM technical conferences and support new business opportunities.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in a powerplant‑focused role.
• Degree qualification preferred; airline powerplant management experience preferred.
• Strong technical knowledge of CFM, Pratt & Whitney, GE, IAE and Rolls‑Royce engine families.
• Commercial and financial acumen.
• Proficient with MS Office and project‑management practices.
• Self‑motivated, quality‑driven and able to communicate at all organisational levels.
• Willingness to travel internationally on short notice for extended periods.

• Annual salary around 170,000 SGD plus a 15 % bonus
• $1,500 wellbeing allowance per annum
