ESG & Communications Specialist

About the role

Lee Yin Group is seeking an ESG & Communications Specialist to lead its sustainability agenda and shape its external communications. This newly created position sits at the intersection of ESG data management and brand storytelling, reporting to the Chief of Staff.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and continuously improve ESG data collection across the Group and its supply chain, covering environmental, social, and governance metrics.
• Monitor ESG data, flag compliance risks early, and advise on corrective actions.
• Coordinate and prepare annual sustainability reports aligned with frameworks such as GRI and SASB.
• Respond to ESG due‑diligence questionnaires from global brand partners with accurate and timely information.
• Support senior leadership in developing the ESG roadmap, setting measurable targets, and building internal tracking processes.
• Identify relevant certifications, industry benchmarks, and grant opportunities to strengthen sustainability credentials.
• Maintain and renew sustainability awards and accolades for the Group.

Required profile

• Proven experience in ESG data management, sustainability reporting, or related fields.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex datasets.
• Excellent written communication skills for internal and external audiences.
• Proactive attitude, capable of identifying improvement opportunities and implementing solutions.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with operations, finance, and marketing teams.

Required skills

• Knowledge of ESG reporting frameworks (GRI, SASB).
• Experience preparing sustainability reports and responding to ESG questionnaires.
• Data analysis proficiency (e.g., Excel).
• Strong written communication for crafting LinkedIn posts and media releases.
