Executive Engineer, Geotechnical and Tunnels

About the role

The Land Transport Authority (LTA) is recruiting an Executive Engineer / Engineer in geotechnical and tunnels work. The role covers the planning and design development of road and rail projects, and involves supporting other LTA divisions across planning, design, construction, asset maintenance and regulation.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and manage site investigation works and conduct feasibility and engineering studies
• Review design submissions and carry out geotechnical design for land transport infrastructure projects
• Manage site investigation contracts and design consultants
• Conduct project safety reviews and construction audits for major infrastructure projects
• Review and update engineering standards
• Provide technical specialist support to other LTA divisions

Required profile

• Civil Engineering knowledge or equivalent
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in geotechnical design and construction of deep excavations and/or tunnels
• Keen interest in land transport infrastructure projects
• Good analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
• Candidates with strong relevant experience may be considered for senior roles
