About the role
LTA is seeking an Executive Engineer / Engineer, Track & Alignment to join its team and lead, manage and supervise railway alignment and permanent way design, as well as ground vibration studies, in the planning and development of railway and metro projects.
Key responsibilities
- Lead, manage and supervise railway alignment and permanent way design and ground vibration studies
- Take part in engineering studies and review design submissions
- Carry out detail design and manage contracts and design consultants
- Review engineering standards
- Provide technical support to other LTA divisions in planning, design, construction, asset maintenance / management and regulatory functions
Required profile
- Civil Engineering knowledge or equivalent
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in track and rail alignment design preferred
- Keen interest in the development of rail infrastructure projects
- Good analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong and relevant experience may be considered for senior roles
Required skills
- Ability to use MicroStation and OpenRail CAD software
