Executive Manager, Decision Support & Financial Analysis (Contract)

About the role

This Executive Manager position sits in the Finance Division and acts as a Strategic Business Partner to divisions, providing valued-added financial advisory support. It is advertised as a contract role.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate strategic projects on project costing, assumptions and methodology, and recommend appropriate funding sources
• Assess the financial feasibility of projects through financial modelling
• Build complex financial models with sensitivity analysis, ensuring they are scalable, transparent, logically structured and robust enough for management decisions
• Seek funding from Ministries for projects
• Support new projects by setting up financial operating and reporting frameworks
• Analyse divisions' quarterly financial performance and their operating and development budget requirements
• Monitor budget utilisation across divisions
• Provide ad hoc financial advisory support to divisions and projects

Required profile

• Degree in Accountancy, Finance or Business
• ACCA qualification; Chartered Accountants are given an added advantage
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in financial advisory roles
• Proactive, positive and assertive, able to accept challenges
• Able to multi-task and work under pressure, and to keep up with fast-paced change
• Good written, communication and presentation skills, and team player

• Ability to contribute to or lead process improvement, automation and data analytics initiatives for budgeting and forecasting
