Executive – Programme Administration & Management

About the role

The National Institute of Education (NIE) is seeking an Executive to support the Office of Teacher Education and Undergraduate Programmes. This 2‑year fixed‑term position will assist in the planning, coordination and smooth operation of initial teacher preparation and undergraduate programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to email enquiries professionally and promptly.
• Plan and manage timetabling activities, liaising with internal stakeholders and allocating courses.
• Configure and update programme structures across multiple systems.
• Provide administrative support to the Assistant/Associate Dean on programme matters.
• Update and revise programme handbooks as required.
• Prepare academic plans for students and support undergraduate course management.
• Offer secretarial support for student consultative meetings, including scheduling and minute‑taking.
• Perform other duties as directed by the Manager, Programme Administration & Management.

Required profile

• Polytechnic Diploma or equivalent; fresh graduates are welcome.
• Relevant experience in student support or programme administration, preferably in a tertiary education setting.
• Strong organisational skills with keen attention to detail.
• Highly motivated, resourceful and able to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in the Microsoft 365 suite.
