Executive – Public, International and Alumni Relations

About the role

The National Institute of Education (NIE) seeks an Executive to support its Public, International and Alumni Relations (PIAR) department. The role focuses on creating engaging digital content, especially video and social media, to communicate NIE’s initiatives and stories.

Key responsibilities

• Conceptualise, script, produce and edit short‑form video and social media content for NIE platforms, including reels, event highlights and campaign posts.
• Plan, schedule and adapt content for various social media channels, ensuring alignment with audience needs, platform formats and performance insights.
• Provide coordination support for official visits, institutional events and alumni programmes, including logistics, on‑site assistance and content capture.
• Monitor media coverage and digital performance to identify story angles and content opportunities, and repurpose them for social channels.

Required profile

• Polytechnic diploma in Communications, Marketing, Digital Media, Film, Media Production, Journalism or related field.
• At least two years of relevant work experience.
• Strong writing, editing and visual storytelling abilities.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to work under tight timelines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with social media platforms and content scheduling tools.
• Basic video editing and visual design tools for short‑form content.
• Caption writing and script development for digital formats.
