About the role
The Manager, F1 will play a pivotal role in delivering the Singapore Grand Prix, a marquee international event that drives tourism and economic benefits for Singapore. Reporting to the Singapore Tourism Board, the officer will coordinate with multiple government agencies, the race promoter, and local stakeholders to ensure a seamless race weekend.
Key responsibilities
- Lead stakeholder management with Marina Bay businesses, hotels, malls, the race promoter (SGP) and government agencies.
- Serve as STB’s liaison on the Traffic & Transport Sub‑committee (LTA) and provide inputs on transport planning.
- Represent STB on the Security & Emergency Response Sub‑committee (SPF), set up and manage the Joint Operations Command during race weekends, and handle security‑related budget reimbursements.
- Manage accreditation for STB staff and coordinate security materials such as NOMs and tabletop exercises.
- Participate in the Circuit & Infrastructure Sub‑committee, oversee overhead pass assets, and support post‑race landscape reinstatement.
- Act as Secretariat for the C&I Sub‑committee on a rotational basis, prepare grant papers, manage budgets and provide analytical recommendations to senior management.
Required profile
- Strong business acumen and analytical thinking.
- Excellent relationship‑building, problem‑solving and negotiation capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholder queries and coordinate cross‑agency initiatives.
- Critical thinking and budget management skills.
