Fab Assistant – Semiconductor Fabrication Operator

About the role

The Fab Assistant supports wafer fabrication in a semiconductor production environment. Working under close supervision, the role involves operating and calibrating equipment to ensure high‑quality device manufacturing.

Key responsibilities

• Perform wafer fabrication functions including alignment, masking, etch and diffusion processes.
• Operate, calibrate and run process equipment in the fab environment.
• Follow established troubleshooting techniques and implement corrective actions to keep processes within control parameters.
• Execute assignments with clearly defined objectives using standard procedures and tools.
• Deliver output under close supervision and share information with the team.

Required profile

• Works on routine assignments with limited judgment and little decision‑making authority.
• Receives detailed instructions and operates under close supervision.
• Typically less than 1 year of related experience.
