Facilities Electrical Technician – Fab 10

About the role

Micron is seeking a Facilities Electrical Technician for Fab 10 to support operation, maintenance, and enhancement of electrical systems in a semiconductor manufacturing environment. The role works closely with engineers and cross‑functional teams to ensure reliable, safe, and high‑performance power infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on electrical systems ranging from 230 kV to low voltage, including emergency generators, UPS and power‑quality equipment.
• Support commissioning, startup, and upgrades of new electrical infrastructure while ensuring compliance with EHS standards.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical issues using structured troubleshooting, risk assessments and FMEA.
• Maintain accurate documentation of systems, maintenance records and compliance reports.
• Mentor junior technicians and contribute to technical training programs.

Required profile

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical certification.
• Minimum 2 + years experience in electrical maintenance within semiconductor or advanced manufacturing environments.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills with a proactive, safety‑focused mindset.

Required skills

• Knowledge of HV/MV/LV systems and electrical schematics.
• Familiarity with safety codes, IEC standards and ETAP.
• Experience with emergency generators, UPS systems and power‑quality equipment.
• Use of predictive maintenance tools and SMART diagnostics.
• Ability to apply AI‑enabled methods where applicable.
