Facilities Manager

About the role

NParks is hiring a Facilities Manager to join its Facilities team. You will manage the ad-hoc and cyclical maintenance programme and build the management and inspection plans for building and park facilities, infrastructure and other physical assets, including slope stabilisation and coastal erosion protection works.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate multi-discipline consultants, contractors and authorities on design requirements and implementation of upgrading and construction projects, including budgeting and scheduling.
• Drive the adoption of Smart Facilities Management (Smart FM) initiatives, using AI tools and data analytics to improve efficiency and maintenance outcomes.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering, Construction/Building Management, Facilities Management or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Knowledge of current codes of practice, regulatory authority requirements and building regulations.
• Good interpersonal, communication, management and organisation skills, able to work in a team and independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience transforming and implementing Smart FM solutions.
• Preferred: a professional qualification recognised by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore, or specialisation in civil, structural, electrical or mechanical disciplines.
