Facilities Manager – West, Logistics & BMS

About the role

We are seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee the daily operations and maintenance of school facilities across the western region, including logistics and building management systems. The role involves leading a team, coordinating with contractors, and ensuring a safe, efficient environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily operations and maintenance of school buildings, grounds, and equipment.
• Coordinate and supervise maintenance staff, contractors, and vendors.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimise disruptions.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and regulatory standards.
• Assist in budgeting, cost control, and procurement of facility‑related services.
• Support facility improvement and minor renovation projects.
• Respond promptly to facility‑related issues or emergencies.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance, inspections, and facility performance.

Required profile

• Degree in Built Environment, Facilities Management, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience with proven management or supervisory background.

Required skills

• Building Management System (BMS) operation and monitoring.
