Facilities Technician

About the role

JLL is hiring a Facilities Technician for an on-site position in Singapore. The role provides basic handyman and technical troubleshooting on mechanical and electrical systems, while delivering a positive client service experience.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct daily site inspections and assessments of facilities, including daily reading of water and electrical meters
• Keep premises neat and in good working condition, and perform regular checks of essential equipment
• Carry out monthly joint EHS inspections with site staff and rectify safety violations
• Maintain inventory of office keys and supplies and tools, and manage stock of supplies
• Perform daily ambient temperature checks and adjust accordingly
• Escort vendors, including delivery, maintenance, preventive and reactive services
• Perform basic electrical work such as power trip resets, minor repairs and replacement of switches, light fittings and light tubes
• Perform basic plumbing work such as removing chokes, fixing leaks and replacing kitchen faucets and washroom fixtures
• Check and maintain fan coil units (FCU)
• Touch up or repair the premises to keep it aesthetically good
• Support Move, Add and Change (M.A.C.) of furniture and workspace, and replace faulty locks on pedestals, cabinets and cupboards
• Repair doors, hinges, door stops and locksets
• Provide onsite support for meeting rooms, events and seasonal setups, including decoration and poster management
• Attend to fault calls and emergency escalations, and carry out ad-hoc duties when requested
