Facility Maintenance Specialist

About the role

Apple’s Places group is looking for a Facility Maintenance Specialist to lead the operation and upkeep of its Singapore campuses. You will ensure that all building systems run safely, reliably and efficiently, supporting a world‑class environment for employees and visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day facilities operations for designated buildings, managing outsourced maintenance and service teams.
• Execute preventive and reactive work orders, ensuring timely completion and compliance with EHS standards.
• Collaborate with engineers to optimise resource allocation for maintenance activities.
• Develop and maintain maintenance procedures, service contracts and spare‑part inventories for critical equipment.
• Review maintenance reports, preventive checklists and downtime logs to drive continuous improvement.
• Lead root‑cause analyses of incidents, implement corrective actions and track closure.
• Plan and execute annual power‑shutdown maintenance without impacting clean‑room operations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in facility or building maintenance management.
• Ability to lead and coordinate outsourced service providers.
• Strong understanding of EHS requirements and safety practices.
• Experience working with engineering teams on maintenance optimisation.

• HVAC systems (chillers, cooling towers, AHUs, MAUs, FFUs, FCUs)
• Electrical power equipment (HT/LV switchgear, transformers, UPS, ATS, generators, VSDs)
• Building Management System (BMS) and lighting control
• Water treatment plants (UP/DI/RO, wet scrubber, CDA, PVAC)
• Fire protection and safety systems
• AV equipment maintenance
• Preventive maintenance planning and root‑cause analysis
