Family Physician (Family & Community Medicine)

About the role

The Family and Community Medicine department of Yishun Health, part of the National Healthcare Group, provides holistic, personalised care for its staff and patients. It is looking for experienced family physicians to lead a multidisciplinary team and act as the primary coordinating doctor for hospital patients with multiple medical conditions. The role also plays an important part in promoting health, optimising medical conditions and preventing fragmentation of care, including work in the community and outpatient clinics. There are currently no calls required.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and Master of Medicine (Family Medicine) from NUS or an equivalent qualification from a university or medical institution listed in the Singapore Medical Council schedules
• Fellowship of the College of Family Physicians (FCFP) qualification or application for it
• Fully registered with the Singapore Medical Council
• Accredited and registered with the Family Physician Accreditation Board (FPAB)
• At least 2 years of experience as a Family Physician (or equivalent) in the relevant discipline
• In active clinical practice during the immediate past 3 years
