F&B Operations Supervisor

About the role

The F&B Operations Supervisor will lead the daily operations of a busy coffee shop in Singapore, ensuring compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards. This senior management position involves coordinating with stall tenants, supervising staff, and maintaining the shop’s brand reputation.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily coffee shop operations and enforce SFA food safety, NEA hygiene, and safety regulations.
• Manage stall tenants, coordinate their activities, and resolve disputes and customer complaints promptly.
• Prepare staff duty rosters, conduct briefings, and provide on‑job training for frontline service staff.
• Monitor inventory, control food costs, review sales reports, and reconcile cash daily.
• Maintain store facilities, arrange maintenance for kitchen equipment, lighting, exhaust systems, and premises.
• Liaise with suppliers, process purchase orders, and reconcile monthly supply payments.
• Implement customer service standards, enhance the dine‑in experience, and protect the shop’s brand reputation.
• Handle emergency incidents, ensure premises security, and guarantee smooth daily operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Food & Beverage Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of proven coffee‑shop operational management experience; tenant management experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore food safety regulations, coffee‑shop workflows, and F&B cost control.
• Excellent organisational, problem‑solving and interpersonal communication abilities.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
• Ability to lead a small team and operate independently in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in basic POS system operation.
• Competence with Microsoft Office for daily administrative reporting.
