Field Operations Technician 2

About the role

The Field Operations Technician supports the deployment and operation of TES equipment at customer sites. Working under general supervision, the technician follows established procedures while adapting to occasional deviations when required.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior technicians in setting up and initiating TES equipment on vehicles or platforms at field locations.
• Perform battery charging, semi‑routine testing, and troubleshooting using test equipment, hand tools, and operator manuals.
• Identify and analyse equipment malfunctions at the module level and document findings.
• Maintain accurate records of operator‑level activities, preventive maintenance checks, and system performance data in line with contractual and company requirements.
• Participate actively in team discussions and collaborate with other technicians to resolve issues.
• Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards throughout all tasks.

Required profile

• Ability to work under general supervision and seek guidance on new assignments.
• Strong attention to detail for accurate record‑keeping and safety compliance.
• Willingness to perform reasonable work assignments, including deviations from standard procedures when necessary.

Required skills

• Proficiency with test equipment and hand tools.
• Experience in battery charging and semi‑routine equipment testing.
• Capability to document preventive maintenance activities accurately.
