CNC Machine Maintenance Technician – Oil & Gas

About the role

Techware is seeking an experienced CNC Machine Maintenance Technician to support its oil & gas manufacturing operations in Jurong. The role focuses on keeping CNC turning and milling equipment running at peak performance to deliver high‑spec components.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on CNC turning and milling machines.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults.
• Diagnose issues in CNC controls, drives, motors and control units.
• Minimise downtime through rapid problem‑solving and emergency breakdown response.
• Conduct routine inspections, calibration and alignment of machinery.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, service reports and spare‑parts inventory.
• Assist with machine installation, commissioning and upgrades.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to optimise machine performance and ensure compliance with safety and oil‑gas regulations.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of hands‑on experience maintaining CNC turning and milling machines.
• Strong knowledge of CNC controls such as Fanuc or Siemens.
• Proficiency with hydraulics, pneumatics and precision machining equipment.
• Ability to read technical drawings, electrical schematics and machine manuals.
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills, able to work independently under pressure.
