Finance Data & Systems Off-Cycle Internship (Jan‑Jun)

About the role

Join PwC’s Finance Data & Systems (FDS) team as an off‑cycle intern and help modernise the firm’s finance function. You will work on daily operations, data quality, analytics and automation projects, gaining exposure to cutting‑edge tools such as AI‑driven assistants.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily operational actions within finance systems to keep core processes running smoothly.
• Conduct data quality checks and maintenance to ensure accuracy across finance platforms.
• Build statistical reports, dashboards and data visualisations that support business decisions.
• Contribute to finance transformation initiatives by drafting policies, SOPs and process documentation.
• Participate in ad‑hoc automation projects and explore technology solutions that improve finance workflows.
• Utilise AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT and other GenAI platforms to enhance productivity and reporting quality.

Required profile

• Curious, technically‑minded student eager to start a career in finance and data.
• Enrolled in a relevant undergraduate or graduate programme.

Required skills

• Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot.
• Experience using ChatGPT or similar generative AI tools.
• Basic data‑analytics skills for building reports and dashboards.
