Finance Director - Clean Energy & Infrastructure

About the role

A Singapore-headquartered, high-growth clean energy and infrastructure business operating across Southeast Asia is looking for an experienced Finance Director. The company develops and operates technology-enabled infrastructure supporting the region's shift to sustainable mobility and energy, and is expanding regionally. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Finance Director joins the executive leadership team and leads capital strategy, regional finance and investment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead capital strategy, including equity and debt fundraising, project and asset-backed financing, and engagement with institutional investors, infrastructure funds, banks and strategic partners
• Provide commercial and financial leadership for regional investments, new market entry, partnerships and potential corporate transactions, with disciplined capital allocation and attractive returns
• Build a scalable regional finance platform and strengthen FP&A, treasury, cash and working capital management, governance, controls and management reporting
• Oversee finance across Southeast Asia, develop operational and investment KPIs, and improve systems, data and processes

Required profile

• Senior finance executive with about 15-20 years of progressive experience, ideally as CFO, Finance Director, VP Finance or Regional Head of Finance in a mid-sized, entrepreneurial or high-growth organisation
• Track record in equity and debt fundraising, capital structuring and investor management
• Hands-on experience leading multi-country finance operations in Southeast Asia
• Exposure to renewable or distributed energy, EV infrastructure, utilities, Energy-as-a-Service, infrastructure services or another asset-intensive sector is particularly relevant
• Experience with private equity, infrastructure investors or founder-led businesses is highly regarded
• Strong commercial judgement, board-level credibility and willingness to stay close to execution and build capable teams
