Finance Intern - Travel Retail

About the role

Make Up For Ever, part of LVMH, is recruiting a Finance Intern for its Travel Retail business in Asia Pacific. The intern works with teams in Singapore, Korea, Hong Kong and China and develops knowledge of the dynamic Travel Retail business. The internship is full-time and lasts at least 6 months (January to June 2027).

Key responsibilities

• Assist the controlling team with month-end closing tasks such as monthly reporting to HQ, region or local management.
• Analyse the main variances between actual P&L and last year's figures and the budget.
• Support the preparation of monthly meetings for Brand Management and ad hoc local reports.
• Support business analysis on retail sales, net sales and other topics.
• Help prepare budget templates, consolidate market and function inputs, and upload data to HQ systems.
• Review controlling procedures, streamline reporting and organise access to data.
• Carry out ad hoc analysis and follow up projects.

Required profile

• Able to commit for at least 6 months (January to June 2027) to a full-time internship.
• Self-motivated, with a strong work ethic and a sense of confidentiality.
• Flexible to changing business needs, with good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong interest in consumer goods, makeup and beauty products, and a strong desire to learn.
• Able to stay positive and follow up on loose ends under pressure.

Required skills

• MS Office tools, including Outlook (or a similar email tool), Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
