Finance Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Finance Manager to lead our finance and accounting function, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and delivering accurate financial reporting. The role will oversee month‑end close, payroll, revenue calculations and risk management within a banking or financial services environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain financial controls and prepare accounts in line with IFRS.
• Review and approve monthly payroll and related calculations.
• Calculate revenue, advisory fees and generate invoicing and performance reports.
• File regulatory returns (quarterly and annual PIB and VAT) accurately and on time.
• Develop and maintain MAS reporting procedures and documentation.
• Design and implement accounting systems, internal controls and related finance processes.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and address identified control weaknesses.
• Manage treasury activities and monitor key risk indicators.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and internal policies.

Required profile

• 10‑12 years of relevant experience in banking or financial institutions.
• Strong knowledge of MAS regulatory reporting requirements.
• Advanced understanding of IFRS and its impact on financial statements.
• Proven experience as a Chief Accountant or Senior Accountant.
• High‑level written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Expertise in IFRS accounting standards.
• Knowledge of MAS regulatory reporting.
• Book‑keeping, month‑end close, pre‑payment and fixed‑asset scheduling.
