Finance Manager / Senior Finance Manager (Corporate Finance & Treasury)

About the role

The Public Utilities Board (PUB) is hiring a Finance Manager or Senior Finance Manager for its Corporate Finance & Treasury team. You will support PUB's treasury operations, financial risk management and sound financial governance, managing cash flow management, financial analysis, insurance administration, risk management and financial reporting while working closely with internal departments and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day corporate finance and treasury activities, including cash and liquidity management, cash flow forecasting, banking arrangements and financial reporting, and prepare financial analysis and management reports.
• Coordinate with banks, financial institutions and internal stakeholders to resolve operational issues and ensure timely execution of financial transactions.
• Manage corporate insurance arrangements, including policy renewals, coverage reviews, claims management and cost-effective insurance protection.
• Assist in reviewing financial and operational risks and contribute to risk mitigation measures.
• Review and maintain financial policies, standard operating procedures and internal controls, and support internal and external audits and compliance reviews.
• Drive process improvements and digital transformation by identifying opportunities to use technology, automation and AI-enabled tools, and support dashboards, analytical tools and automated reporting.

Required profile

• Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration, Economics or a related discipline.
• Preferably 5-8 years of relevant experience in corporate finance, treasury, financial operations, risk management or related functions; candidates with less experience but strong aptitude will also be considered.
• Experience in treasury operations, cash flow management, banking arrangements, corporate financing or insurance management is advantageous.
• Keen interest in digital transformation, process automation and continuous improvement.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with Qlik Sense, AI-enabled productivity tools or other digital solutions is an advantage.
