Finance Strategy & Operations Manager – Consulting

About the role

PwC is seeking a Finance Strategy & Operations Manager to lead client engagements within its Financial Services Strategy & Operations team. You will work on complex projects that help banks, asset managers, insurers and fintechs grow, improve productivity, modernise their organisations and navigate digital transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead client interactions and delivery of consulting engagements alongside senior leaders and junior teammates.
• Define work plans, identify client needs, and manage execution to ensure high‑quality outcomes.
• Activate PwC network capabilities, bringing the right expertise to each project.
• Mentor and develop junior staff, fostering core competencies and leadership potential.
• Contribute to thought leadership through external publications and internal innovation of service offerings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, economics, finance, engineering or a related field; MBA or CFA is a plus.
• 6‑8 years of relevant experience in consulting, strategy, transformation, digitisation or operations within Financial Services.
• Proven delivery leadership and people‑management experience.
• Strong quantitative and qualitative problem‑solving abilities.
