Financial Controller – Singapore HQ

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned Financial Controller to join the Singapore headquarters of a global international company. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will lead the finance function, oversee a small finance team, and support the organization’s continued international growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the full spectrum of finance operations, including financial reporting, month‑end/year‑end closing, group consolidation, and cash‑flow management.
• Prepare consolidated financial statements in accordance with SFRS and support EU‑adopted IFRS reporting requirements and statutory compliance.
• Partner closely with the CFO on budgeting, forecasting, treasury, corporate tax, transfer pricing, and business performance analysis.
• Lead audit, tax, regulatory reporting, and stakeholder management while driving continuous process improvements and internal controls.
• Supervise and mentor a small finance team in a collaborative international environment.

Required profile

• Degree in Accountancy or Finance; CPA, ACCA, CA or ISCA qualification preferred.
• At least 8 years of accounting and finance experience, covering financial reporting, consolidation, audit and statutory compliance.
• Experience in leasing, logistics, shipping, transportation, asset‑intensive, trading or multinational environments is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of SFRS and excellent English communication skills.
