Firmware Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an Embedded Firmware Engineer to join our R&D team developing firmware for advanced optical and high‑speed hardware products. You will collaborate closely with hardware and system engineers to create MCU‑based control, interfaces, monitoring, and product bring‑up solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, debug and maintain embedded firmware for optical modules and related platforms.
• Implement MCU‑based control and monitoring functions for sensors, power devices and other components.
• Develop and debug communication interfaces such as I2C, SPI, UART, MDIO and GPIO.
• Create device initialization, configuration, monitoring, fault detection and protection routines.
• Support hardware bring‑up, system debugging, failure analysis and production introduction.
• Integrate firmware with host software and automated test systems.
• Maintain firmware architecture documentation and version control.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electronics, Computer Engineering, Communications, Automation, Microelectronics or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in embedded firmware or hardware product development.
• Strong C/C++ programming skills with hands‑on MCU development.
• Experience with ARM‑based MCU/processor platforms and bare‑metal or RTOS environments.
