About the role
The Food & Beverage Service Executive will lead a team in delivering exceptional dining experiences across several iconic outlets at Raffles Hotel Singapore. This role combines proactive supervision with hands‑on service to ensure every guest receives the historic luxury and personalized care the hotel is renowned for.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations and achieve service and revenue targets for assigned outlets.
- Supervise and actively work at a restaurant station, ensuring efficient set‑up and smooth service flow.
- Assist the Outlet Manager in coaching staff to meet the highest service and product standards.
- Take guest orders, promote menu items, and provide detailed beverage knowledge, including cocktails and spirits.
- Enter orders accurately into the POS system, double‑check tickets, and verify guest satisfaction throughout each course.
- Maintain immaculate side stations, tables, silverware, and glassware, and ensure all areas are stocked before and after shifts.
- Handle billing accurately, confirming that all items are accounted for before presenting the final check.
Required profile
- Proactive, interactive leadership style with a focus on team confidence and guest satisfaction.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to remember and act on guest preferences.
- Extensive knowledge of food and beverage menus, including liquors and cocktails.
- Attention to detail, high standards of cleanliness, and ability to work in a historic luxury hotel environment.
Required skills
- Proficient operation of a POS (Point of Sale) system.
- In‑depth menu and beverage knowledge.
- Professional table‑setting and service etiquette.
