Food & Beverage Service Expert (Guest Service)

About the role

Join the vibrant team at W Hotels, part of Marriott International, as a Food & Beverage Service Expert. You will help create memorable dining experiences for guests by delivering attentive, friendly service in a dynamic, upscale environment.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and arrange tables, ensuring a welcoming presentation for each guest.
• Communicate orders accurately with the kitchen and coordinate timing of service.
• Interact with guests, take orders, serve food and beverages, and respond to special requests.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, replenish supplies, and follow health and safety standards.
• Handle menu items, verify information visually, and assist guests with menu questions.
• Perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 25 lb unassisted (50 lb with assistance), reaching overhead, and moving on varied surfaces.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Less than one year of related food‑and‑beverage service experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods and to work safely on sloping or uneven surfaces.
• Willingness to follow company policies, uphold quality standards, and maintain a professional appearance.
