Frontend Engineer/Lead

About the role

We are looking for a senior Frontend Engineer to lead the design and implementation of high‑performance web applications that serve billions of users. You will work on data‑intensive interfaces, turning massive real‑time datasets into smooth, intuitive user experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and develop React/TypeScript applications that handle massive datasets with sub‑100 ms interactions.
• Create interactive data‑visualisation dashboards using virtualised lists, canvas/WebGL, and smart data fetching.
• Profile and optimise JavaScript bundles, render cycles, network waterfalls, and memory usage.
• Contribute to the internal design system and front‑end infrastructure used by thousands of engineers.
• Collaborate with product, design, and data teams to ship end‑to‑end features.
• Monitor production reliability, define SLOs, and resolve SEVs across devices, browsers, and network conditions.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience building production web applications with modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Expert knowledge of React, including hooks, concurrent features, suspense, and server components.
• Proven track record of performance optimisation for large datasets (virtualisation, web workers, streaming, lazy loading).
• Strong computer‑science fundamentals, especially data structures, algorithms, and browser systems design.
• Experience with state‑management solutions at scale (Redux, Zustand, Recoil, or custom).
