Full Stack Engineer (Hybrid, Singapore)

About the role

Gushcloud International is seeking Full Stack Engineers to join its technology team in Singapore. The role is hybrid, requiring on‑site collaboration while working closely with distributed teams across multiple international offices.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain web applications, APIs, and backend systems.
• Write clean, maintainable, and production‑ready code.
• Design and optimise database queries and data models for performance and scalability.
• Contribute to system design and architecture decisions.
• Take ownership of features from development through to deployment.
• Participate in code reviews and continuously improve code quality and engineering standards.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Contribute to improving engineering processes, tooling, and best practices.
• Support and mentor team members where appropriate.

Required profile

• Typically 0 to 8+ years of full‑stack development experience, with flexibility based on demonstrated ability.
• Proficiency in one or more of: PHP (Laravel), Python, JavaScript/Node.js.
• Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals, including OOP, data structures, and design patterns.
• Experience with SQL (e.g., MySQL) and/or NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB) databases.
• Familiarity with building and maintaining production systems, including APIs and web applications.
• Exposure to cloud environments, preferably AWS.
• Understanding of performance optimisation, scalability, and efficient data handling.
• Proficiency with Git version control in collaborative environments.
