Full Stack Engineer (Node.js, React, Next.js)

About the role

We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer to design and develop new application features for Singapore government agencies. The role involves building backend services, creating responsive user interfaces, and ensuring secure and reliable delivery of software solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop new application features and services based on business requirements.
• Build backend services and APIs using Node.js and Next.js server‑side capabilities.
• Design and manage relational database schemas and data access logic with PostgreSQL.
• Implement secure authentication and authorization, including role‑based access control.
• Develop document and file handling features with appropriate access controls.
• Support system testing, user acceptance testing, bug fixing and production releases.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to create responsive and user‑friendly interfaces.

Required profile

• 2–6 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands‑on experience in full‑stack web development.
• Proficient with React, Next.js, TypeScript, Node.js and PostgreSQL.
• Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
• Ability to analyse complex requirements and design test plans that mitigate risk.
• Familiarity with both backend and frontend technologies.
