Full Stack Engineer / Technical Lead (Contract)

About the role

We are looking for a seasoned Full Stack Engineer who will also act as Technical Lead for a secure, cloud‑based web platform. This 1‑year renewable contract role is based in Singapore and offers the chance to shape architecture and mentor a development team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead design, development and delivery of a scalable web platform.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business and technical requirements into high‑quality software.
• Develop and maintain full‑stack applications using modern front‑end and back‑end technologies.
• Design secure RESTful APIs and optimise PostgreSQL database performance.
• Guide developers through code reviews, best practices and engineering standards.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, application deployment and cloud environments.
• Drive secure software development practices and resolve security findings.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of software engineering experience, including leadership or mentoring.
• Strong proficiency in React.js, TypeScript, Node.js and relational databases (PostgreSQL).
• Experience building RESTful APIs and integrating backend services.
• Familiarity with AWS, containerisation and CI/CD pipelines.
• Good understanding of application security, secure coding, authentication and access control.
