Full-Time Baker – Premium Bakery

About the role

We are looking for a passionate Full‑Time Baker to join the café kitchen team at J’AIME Confections. You will work in a fast‑paced environment creating premium pastries, breads and cakes for our retail and corporate customers.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, measure and organise ingredients according to standardized recipes.
• Bake and decorate a variety of cakes, pastries and other baked products.
• Assist with daily food preparation and overall kitchen operations.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen, equipment and workstations.
• Ensure consistency in food quality and comply with food safety and hygiene standards.
• Monitor ingredient usage, manage stock rotation and store supplies properly.
• Support other kitchen duties as required.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of formal baking experience.
• Strong hands‑on experience with cakes, pastries and other baked goods.
• Detail‑oriented and able to work efficiently in a fast‑paced kitchen.
• Responsible, reliable and capable of working independently.
• Comfortable standing for extended periods.
• Food Safety / Food Hygiene Certificate is an advantage.
