Fullstack Java Engineer

About the role

Apple is seeking a Fullstack Java Engineer to join its team, building large‑scale distributed cloud applications. The role involves collaborating with business partners, application owners, and technology teams to deliver innovative product features.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain large‑scale distributed systems using Java.
• Implement front‑end components with JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular.
• Build and consume RESTful APIs and services.
• Work within Scrum teams, contributing to sprint planning and delivery.
• Collaborate with business partners to shape product road‑maps beyond initial releases.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of experience designing and developing cloud applications in Java.
• Proficiency in front‑end technologies: JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and a modern framework (React or Angular).
• Experience creating RESTful APIs and working with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Strong object‑oriented programming and debugging skills.
• Experience delivering software in a Scrum environment; Scrum Master experience is a plus.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
