Fund Accountant (Consolidation) - 12-Month Contract

About the role

A well-established investment and asset management organisation with a strong presence across Asia is recruiting a Fund Accountant in Singapore for a 12-month contract. The role sits in a finance team supporting large-scale investment funds across multiple markets, offering exposure to fund accounting, financial consolidation, stakeholder management and regional reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly consolidated management accounts and financial reports.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Review financial submissions from internal shared service teams and centres of excellence.
• Coordinate monthly, quarterly and annual closing with regional finance teams.
• Prepare management reporting packs and provide financial analysis.
• Support fund administration, including capital account reporting and distributions.
• Perform intercompany reconciliations and monitor payment records.
• Assist with audit requirements, ad hoc finance projects and process improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related discipline.
• CPA, CA or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant accounting, consolidation or fund finance experience.
• Strong financial reporting and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• SAP and/or Tagetik experience is advantageous.
