General Accounts Officer

About the role

The company is seeking a diligent General Accounts Officer to manage its daily financial operations. This full‑time position will support the finance team in maintaining accurate records and ensuring statutory compliance.

Key responsibilities

  • Maintain day‑to‑day financial transactions and bookkeeping records.
  • Record journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts.
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
  • Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, receipts and expense reports.
  • Prepare monthly financial statements.
  • Prepare GST, tax documentation and ensure statutory compliance.
  • Process vendor payments and follow up on outstanding receivables.

Required profile

  • Experience handling journal entries and general ledger accounting.
  • Familiarity with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
  • Ability to perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
  • Knowledge of GST, tax filing and statutory compliance requirements.
  • Attention to detail in preparing invoices, vouchers and financial statements.
